Will Redwood is a professional artist living and working in Springfield IL. He earned a degree in graphic design from S. I. U. E. in 2003. Will is actively practicing the art of writing and illustrating books of verse. He is employed as the Art Program Director of Springfield IL, Boys and Girls Clubs.

Artist Statement

"I've delighted in rhythm, rhyme, colors and lines for as long as I can recall. I find satisfaction and gratitude in creating. I offer these words and hues because I believe in art as a medium of sharing wisdom and stirring inspiration.

My process is one of exploration, musing and reflection. The practice of creating decodes my experience; In composing a work of art the meaning inherit in common events becomes evident. When this happens there is a story to tell!"
